Gabriel V18 Amplifier – Fantastic Amp!
I have now had the Gabriel V18 Amplifier for 2 months now and I can’t really say enough good things about it. The Gabriel Amplifier website is great at showing you how many sounds you can get out of this AMP…
BUT
No internet mp3 can really show you the almost three dimensional harmonics that make the chime and clean on this amp to another level. The build quality and attention to detail is brilliant (and what you would expect for a rare boutique amp like this) and I have to say the design is just beautiful. Gabi was/is a graphic designer and the combination of Amp Builder and Artisit is one that really, really works!
Of course one of the key reasons to go the v18 is great crunch at levels that would not cause the neighbours/wife/kids to go crazy. The v18 has really got you covered there.
That does not mean that this AMP can not handle the small medium sized gig!! It’s very loud when you need it to be and of course all that air moving makes for a wonderful guitar playing experience (if you need stadium/large venue – then step-up to the V33
It is hard to get hold of one of these AMPs. Gabriel hand builds them and there is a wait.
But when you get one – you will not regret it!!

That looks like a fantastic amp!!, its tone sounds very clean even at high gain!, I wonder what a Fender Telecaster would sound like with it?.

I wonder what year this thing is…does it have tubes or is it solid state? I had a Fender Twin Reverb with tubes and when I went away to college my mom gave it away!

Really top of the art! If you can afford it though… ^^

Looks like a great amp to me
@kids hip hop
You should get a Blues Junior. It’s great amp and just enough watts to play with a drummer (as long as the drummer isn’t really heavy handed) and it’s also ideal for home use.

If it sounds as smooth as it looks then it`s gonna sound just amazing!
I`d just love to plug in to this and blow the glass
clean out of my porch
and my eyeballs out of their sockets…..

I like the fact that it is powered by EL84 tubes. A great sound coming from that video, clear and bright. Tubes are always the only way you get that warmth in my opinion.

I dig this amp! Now I need to save some coinage. The breakup on the distortion is awesome and that feedback with the lp… is nice!

Yeah baby, smokes my Fender Twin Reverb (a classic amp with tubes). Mines cool, but the Gabriel sounds excellent! Honey, where’s my credit card?

I got to play my Martin through this exact amp and it was awsome! Would love to have one…

I’d like to drive a Strat through that bad boy. I’m wondering how it sounds compared to a Macintosh? Anybody know?

Sure this AMP (Gabriel V18) is a great deal. I would love to own one, but, BTW, how much it cost you?

The fact that Gabriel has a graphics design background really shines through in his design of the V18 Amplifier, and the slightly retro feel only adds to the charm. Playing your guitar through that Amp must be a joyous experience.

That thing looks awesome! I’m checking out some YouTube videos now on it. Maybe I’ll get one after I recover from all the holiday spending

I’m actually looking for a new amplifier at the moment and this looks pretty darn nice. Versatility is a big issue with me since I cover quite a few different genres.
